Kailash Ashram, Rishikesh

Finish: Chettinad Lime Plaster with Polished Finish
Description: Originally constructed in 1885 as the residence for the pontiff of Kailash Ashram, this historic building hosted Swami Vivekananda during his visit to Rishikesh. Over the years, the structure underwent several alterations and repairs. AALEP takes pride in restoring the Ashram to its original grandeur, meticulously recreating the authentic surface renders. The project is guided by Prof. K Ramasubramaniam.
Materials Used: Lime & traditional Sukhri plaster with brick powder, jaggery and other admixtures.
